The Digital future

Digital learning was once the field of the imagination and was left to the rich men’s children. The education sector has been more reluctant to open itself to the digital world. But that is changing.

A real investor would really inject in millions of money to the sector of edu-tech, online learning in Uganda. There are just a few couple of online schools available in Africa by the way. The challenge is those with money to invest don't have the idea and those with the ideas don't have money which is of course the tragedy of life. There has been a lot of digital improvements in almost all sectors across the globe in the post effect of the virus that left tens of thousands dead. The world came together to ensure life continues amidst the most deadly time in the history of many lives.

We started having digital markets where we would order and completely shop virtually, we later had digital meetings among others, schools came and tried their best to provide digital lessons. Alot more has continued to improve even after the virus is considered by many to be a political and economic disease against certain individuals, companies, countries etc.

This situation set many into believing to trust edu-tech, I have met so many learning apps and websites in Uganda but it looks like many have not yet been a success even by 2024. But are we ready for the new form of Education, are we sure the future of our children of tomorrow is certain. Alot of folks got scrambled with good ideas to improve our digital schools, learning and general education. How about we think of something like a digital library; an online library that brings together all teachers, students, parents, readers and writers who missions up to create a digital class, discussions, debates among many more.

A library of all categories, a conducive thrilling, stress free environment without the old style "silence in the library" but rather 'tap here to read', ask for explanation, watch video lesson, join discussion ahhh; am just talking about that library with thousands of books just in the palm of your hand, a library in your smart phone where you carry it anywhere with you. With this I think, we shall be ready for the digital change, the digital future where we speculate our children and children's children will enjoy. Let's embrace the new norm and secure a future together. Some could have promised a future for our kids, but how secure is the method they will use to secure our future yet they their children study out of our beloved country Uganda.

Am not against any personality nor idea that talks about securing a future, am neither a politician nor interested in being one soon or later; all I need is my fellow country men and women, all the 'abazukullu' must be prepared for this digital future, a digital change where we base our learning and education to platforms we trust. A platform where our children sit in their parents sitting room and learn at their own pace.

As LuckyMobile Inc. a start-up freelancing tech company has for over 4years has invested in this digital idea thing to try to bring together a team that can give birth to Mylibrary App into the market. Behold, the test app is flooding in the market. Not just talking about the orange color beauty that is very friendly to any type of user but with exciting freedom to publically share, sell or buy any book, texts, video, classes among many others.

MyLibrary gives teachers opportunity to open their own online side hustles where they manage, monitor students who subscribed easily. More so, teachers can sell their notes, videos, lessons, schemes of work, lesson plans, tests, past papers among many more. All these are possible in the MyLibrary market. A market with freedom of selling non-copyrighted materials. With this new form of digital library, the future shall be secure, learning shall be made simple and we shall not just have our kids near us but also be able to monitor our children's performances.

Help make this dream come true, be one of those to test and give feedback.
